Therefore you now have sorrow; but I will see you again and your heart will rejoice, and your joy no one will take from you.
~John 16:22~
I heard these words yesterday morning as I sat in my bed praying to the Lord; "The tide is turning," He stated. As I went on to ask for understanding in what this meant. I began to hear words to follow, "soon there will be despair, but the Church will prevail." I began to understand that these feelings, these visions, these words deep within my spirit of "dark times ahead" were true but that glory would follow through. This is good news and sad news. Good news for the Body of Christ. Sad news for the ones who chose not to follow Him. I began to feel a deep sadness with me that was not my own, rather His. The Lord desires that none should perish, that all should come to know Him; "Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?" (Romans 2:4)
A lot of us feel the hardship in the world pressing down on us as we watch times shifting. We may be under attack as the devil presses in knowing his time is short. We may be facing sudden loss. Perhaps illness has struck our bodies and we are battling to be healed. Our Father is much greater then any of these issues and He wants to turn it all around for us. Jesus is saying times are about to make a large shift in our direction for good! "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." (Romans 8:28)
The suffering we have endured, the long prayers we have knelt down praying and the sacrifices we have made are about to be blessed my friends. There may come a time soon when things get truely dark, when things end up looking a way to our eyes that seem hopeless but Jesus is saying the Church will prevail! "He will guard the feet of His saints, But the wicked shall be silent in darkness. “For by strength no man shall prevail. The adversaries of the Lord shall be broken in pieces; From heaven He will thunder against them. The Lord will judge the ends of the earth. “He will give strength to His king, And exalt the horn of His anointed.”
(I Samuel 2:9-10)
There is coming a time for His Anointed to see a mighty blessing in the midst of chaos. Right now we may feel like our enemy is winning or the wicked are in better places then we are and we can't seem to understand why. The Lord is ready to turn everything around. We must keep believing in the glory that will follow! There is an outpouring of the willing children of God; there are signs and miracles happening everyday! God is always on the move and God is always on our side as we are aligned to Him; "Our help is in the name of the Lord , Who made heaven and earth." (Psalms 124:8)
The darkness cannot overwhelm us, the snares cannot overcome us. Jesus is in charge and we stand for Him! Let us lock arms in this battle that draws nearer and declare these words over our lives; "the tide is turning!" The Lord promises us that our sorrows will be turned into joy and this joy cannot be taken away from us. Let us welcome this joy into our hearts and meditate on His word. We will see the Lord again and this is truth; we may not know when but that should be plenty enough to remind us each day that God wants us to rejoice now! One day every wicked thing, every tear shed and every time we felt helpless will be completely restored. "For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? (Romans 8:24)
Let us hold onto our hope and not let the devil try and snatch it from us.
Our mourning will be turned into joy, our pain will be healed and our blessings will increase. We may need to see times getting rough around us but there cannot be a revival without an increase in despair first. The Body of Christ is being awakened, shaped and molded into warriors for Christ! Let us rejoice together now! Let us look ahead in faith and see the victory we are already carrying! Paul knew enough to do so and he battled several hardships but knew his victory was settled once and for all within Jesus; "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
(I Corinthians 15:57)
Let us hold on to His hand and believe in these words together. Things are changing. The heavenlies are at work on both sides and our side always prevails! Praise the King of Kings!
Prayer:
Jehovah Rapha, my healing God, I am grateful for the glory You have planned already for Your Church. I know a mighty healing is taking place now and will increase as times are shifting. Lord, bring us victory and fill us with Your mighty strength so we may stand in the times of despair that may encamp us. I know that You are on my side and nothing shall harm me. I rebuke all evil distractions, all hinderance from the dark kingdom and all attacks planned upon me in Your Name. Im praising You Jesus, for the authority that is within me as I follow You. All of my burdens are cast at Your feet and I know that You love me and send forth a protection to surround me and my entire family. Lord, I pray for salvation for those who are still without. Holy Spirit, please speak truth into their hearts and show them the gift of eternal life they can receive. Send forth Your laborers to reach the broken and to set the captives free by the Spirit within them. I bless this day in the Name of my King and Savior, Jesus Christ, who I will see one day! Amen.
love it!
