Thank You Jesus!

April 18, 2021

I will praise You, O Lord , with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works.

~Psalms 9:1~

For every day that we arise in the morning we can thank Jesus. I am looking around outside currently taking in the elements Jesus gave us to enjoy. All too often we have several distractions in our days that take our focus off the true joy set before us. If there is one thing the enemy wants to do, it is to destroy our love for the things around us, the very things in which God has created for us. God is so good, He wants us to enjoy every moment of our day. "So I commended enjoyment, because a man has nothing better under the sun than to eat, drink, and be merry; for this will remain with him in his labor all the days of his life which God gives him under the sun." (Ecclesiastes 8:15)

We can recognize all the small things in our days and thank Jesus for them. There is nothing He would not do for His children. The love that eminates off our King is far greater then our minds could ever fathom. He carries great honor in His creation and He wants us to as well. "Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him." (I John 3:1)

Let us behold what Jesus has done and given to us today and everyday for that matter. There is deep power in praise, in being thankful. "Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You." (Psalms 63:3)

David understood the strength behind thanking God for what He had and even for what He didnt have yet. When our love for God grows deeper, when the intimacy expands; we grow to appreciate things that are not even our own. We can smile at what other people receive and praise Him, for that love will naturally come flowing out of our hearts. "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” (John 7:38)

With His water, we shall never thirst, we shall never want. For everything will be satisfying enough as we are content just being His.

The Father is so faithful to His word and all of His promises. He wants to answer prayer, He wants to bless us. When we believe in what He can and will do, we will witness His glory manifest into our lives. As we are granted blessings, the Lord looks to receive all the glory. We can give God glory by seeing, hearing and testifying of His marvelous works, just as David penned here. With our whole heart, we shall declare the works God has done in our lives and will do in our lives, believing that His word does not return void.

Today while praying on this scripture Holy Spirit gave me this message to give to all of you reading; "The greatest gift I give you is life, the greatest gift you give me is thanks." God's heart longs for His children's praise and thanksgiving. "to stand every morning to thank and praise the Lord , and likewise at evening." (I Chronicles 23:30)

The enemy can't stand it, all the more power to do it constantly! Let us praise Him no matter what it is we may be doing. Let us declare His marvelous works to those around us to bring an increase in their faith and to bring glory to His honorable Name.

"Give unto the Lord the glory due to His name; Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness." (Psalms 29:2)

Our King is truely beautiful! The miracles I have personally witnessed and experienced these last few days itself is enough to jump up and down as I declare it to you in this devotional. I give thanks for healing, break throughs, deliverance and major destinys beginning; this is not just for myself but for many others who received. God is truth. His plans will not go without coming to pass completely. Let's give God our whole heart as David did in this psalm and praise Him as we tell of His marvelous works, even if they may seem too small to our carnal mind. He is honorable of all praise and thanksgiving!

Prayer:

Father, I just want to thank You first and foremost for being able to know You, for the reconciliation we have through Your Son's Blood. I declare total freedom through Your steadfast love. I give thanks for healing me, teaching me and using me. I stand in truth and worship You in Spirit. I pray that I may glorify Your Name more as I go into the world. May the outreach be blessed by You and may more come to know the Kingdom in it. Lord, I am so grateful for major break throughs and I receive more ahead as You are willing. I receive all blessings according to Your loving kindess, for You are so good to me! I pray blessings on all of my brothers, sisters and even to those I do not know. I declare Your marvelous works and I shun all evil that may try to strip me of that joy set before me. In Jesus Mighty Name I pray. Amen.
