For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.
~Romans 8:22~
All of creation praises His Name, everything is aware of who He is deep inside. Some may choose to reject that very idea but deep down its there within them. God created us all to know Him, to worship Him and to be with Him. When sin entered into this world, all of creation began to take on much pain and suffering. The trees, the animals and the stars know their Creator and they respect Him. Just as we were told to be fruitful and multiply God's goodness, sin was conceived and began to multiply; "Then, when desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, brings forth death." (James 1:15)
When sin grows full, it produces death. When God's goodness is full it produces life.
"You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore." (Psalms 16:11)
As we live each day we may come across certain valleys that bring us low in order that we may press on and grow strong as we get ready to climb the mountain on the other side. Going from a valley to a mountain takes a lot of physical and emotional strength. It takes preparation so that you do not fall while climbing, are able to physically be in the best shape to not harm your body and to be ready spiritually for when you get to the top. Only God knows when we are truely ready for that renewel and revival. The process can be as a woman in labor. The comparison of the two are pretty on point. We all have individual trials and we also have union trials. As we breathe through each pain of sin in this world, we shall overcome and come out on the other side. We are all groaning and awaiting for God's Glory to come. Just as a woman who labors, we have no knowledge of when and how the glory will birth. What we do know is that it will come. Let us focus on that aspect of it and try to breathe with eachother through the pain, using God's promises as our own personal "epidural" as we await the coming fullfilment of Christ. Jesus will be with us holding our hand through each contraction of tribulation.
"Let us lift our hearts and hands To God in heaven." (Lamentations 3:41)
The Lord is telling us that these pains will only last so long. As He hung on the cross and suffered in His Body, it only lasted so long until He took His last breath through the pain. Afterwards we saw the beauty of His resurrection take place. Life came from death. Victory from pain. Friends, join me in pushing through each pain, struggle and "uncertainty" as news would call it; giving God praise now knowing the glory is ahead. Even so Jesus, come.
Prayer:
Father God, I thank you for always being beside me as I treck through the mud of life for I know You are using it for Your glory. I know that each labor pain only lasts so long. I trust in Your plan for my life. Lord, keep leading me and using me anyway You will. I surrender my body, mind, soul and spirit to You alone and want to give praise to Your Name. Victory is coming and Jesus is King! The enemy has no say in my life that You have saved. My Lord, my Redeemer and my Friend; Jesus Christ. Amen.
Amen me too
