Does He not see my ways, And count all my steps?
~Job 31:4~
We are being watched each day, now I don't mean this in a creepy "I see you" type of way. God sees each of us wherever we may be, whichever trial we are attempting to push through and anytime we are getting ready for the next level with Him. He loves us so much that He never takes His eyes off one child. Unfortunately, this means He sees things that are very unsettling within His own; "For He knows deceitful men; He sees wickedness also. Will He not then consider it?" (Job 11:11)
When we love our children so much that we want to protect them every step of the way we keep a very close eye on them, not letting them out of our sight, for we know that at any moment something wicked could lead them astray. Our Father is with us even when we are not with Him. Our spirit man is crying out for a closeness to Him that we step into whatever we lay our eyes on hoping its the growth we have been waiting for. Each step is counted, each tear is saved and each prayer is placed in His keeping; "And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, ascended before God from the angel’s hand." (Revelation 8:4)
We have a steady direction as long as we are relying on His way. The Lord knows what we each need. Can we trust Him for that? It is so easy to get caught up in the cares of the world and make our own steps the way we believe is best. Jesus is waiting for us to take the step in His direction. He has plans for you and for me; "He frustrates the devices of the crafty, So that their hands cannot carry out their plans." (Job 5:12)
Sometimes the Lord will allow our ways to fail so that we learn from them and begin to look up to Him. How else can one grow? Again, if a child refuses to listen to their parents, sometimes the mother or father will just say "let's see how that works out for you." Eventually the child will understand that they should of listened. For those who do not, well thats just stubborness on their part. God can manage each type. I believe that the Lord is waiting on each of us to take that next step into His presence so that we may feel the effects of His blessing. We must step out in faith, for this is what Jesus takes action in, for without it He will not act; "Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief."
(Matthew 13:58)
There are mighty works for us around the corner Jesus is ready to bring us into. Time to step into it! Do we believe in the glory of the Lord, hoping and praying for more of it?
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled."
(Matthew 5:6)
Jesus says to those who believe in Him anything is possible. He is in front of us reaching His hand out asking us to make that next step with Him. The devil loves to make us doubt in our ability to move in faith, he can keep us weakened in our spirit man by doing so. It is time to crush the enemy with all of his lies and declare in faith that we will boldly step into what so ever Jesus has for us next.
We shall not be disappointed when we listen to Jesus' leading. He spoke it, we live it.
Prayer:
Adonai, my God, I am thankful for the patience You have for me when I do not listen to Your instruction. I am grateful for Your guidance as I live as a child of God. I pray for more opportunities to step into what You have planned for me and grow in spiritual strength to bring honor to Your Name. Lead me today my Lord in boldness. I walk by faith in You, not by sight of myself. I decree and declare an outpouring of change as I am ready to take that next step with You and I know wherever You take me it will work out for my good in the end. Thank you for this beautiful day Jesus! It is yet another that You have made and I praise You for it. In the Name of Jesus Christ my Lord of Lords, who willingly leads me in each move. Amen.
