Replenish/Refill

June 10, 2021

For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.”

~Jeremiah 31:25~

I am laying here in bed late at night writing this devotional after a beautiful day of ministry for a beautiful family in Christ. The Lord came in and broke down walls, opened up hearts and destroyed chains that the devil had caused to bind. Jesus' fortifying strength of victory came in and more glory has fallen! As I sat here praying about which verse Holy Spirit wanted me to write on so late at night, He brought me to the verse of the day in my bible app. What a perfect verse for today and for everyday that we walk beside our Lord Jesus Christ! I typically strive to not rewrite about a verse I have already written on, as this is one He led me to last month; however if Jesus insists of it, well why not?! It truely brings joy to see the souls being replenished, refilled with an abundance of His satisfaction and endurance. Personally, it fills my soul to just witness others being filled! Our God is just so good! I can't say it enough! After another day like this and witnessing the joy overflow into hearts of His children and myself, causes this Scripture to really come to life yet again;

"And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”

(Luke 4:21)

We should be desiring that replenishment in our sorrowful souls and ready to receive anything Holy Spirit reveals to us or through others. When we do His righteousness always prevails the attacks of the enemy. God desires us to be filled with Him. Is there a piece of you right now that seems to be struggling with sorrow, despair, anxiety or uneasiness? Are you craving for a refill in your soul? That willingness aligns to God's word and He says yes, I want to satisfy your soul; "For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us." (II Corinthians 1:20)

Let our "yes" and "amen" glorify and magnify the presence He longs to give us. Let us give honor to His great Name by receiving the love of the cross into our mind, body and soul. The parts of us that hide unbelief are the parts of us Holy Spirit wants to guide us through so we may become satisified in Jesus, content with the changes He is making. "Now godliness with contentment is great gain." (I Timothy 6:6)

How do we grow into the image of Christ? Holy Spirit puts to death these parts of us that cause us sorrow and shame. He builds us up and replenishes our souls so that we may align to Him and see ourself and others through His eyes. The gift He gives keeps on giving. We are so blessed to witness to Him and for Him! Today was a taste of God's glory and we are rejoicing with this special family. Divine times are strategically placed by God to enhance and refresh those of whom He has called. The enemy brings in sorrow, God destroys it! Praise be to Him! We serve a merciful, all forgiving God. He sent His Son for us to see and feel His love manifest in front of us. He is alive and He is at work! His will is to use any of us who are willing to be used. The beautiful messages of Christ's ambassadors to fulfill His plans will increase. Ask yourself now, are you willing to truely be used by God? Souls will be replenished, satiated and revived right in front of you as you do. We will take part in praising with those we serve as we encourage, edify and enlighten our brothers and sisters to the truth in which God has spoken. We stand in faith declaring the joy set before us and our King smiles as He partners with us to make it happen. If we are questioning ourself today, if we are on the fence about something truely effecting our walk with Jesus or if we doubting or hurting deep in our hearts; Jesus is saying "Come, receive my freedom and be replenished." He loves us so deeply and His sacrifice is sufficient enough for all of our flesh! Let's address our deep rooted sorrows with Holy Spirit and be willing to be refilled by Him. What an amazing Father we have! Let Him fill our cups with mighty blessings from above!

Prayer:

Gracious Glorious God, I am so thankful for this beautiful day that You have made! Thank you for loving us so much! Thank you for using us according to Your will. Your word is perfect and living. I desire to be filled by You each and everyday. I am blessed to witness glory and to be a part of releasing it. Honor and praise be to You for aligning my soul to my spirit that is all Yours. Holy Spirit I pray for continued guidance and strength to stand in victory. I bind the devil from hindering me in my walk with Jesus and decree further fulfillment in Your plan for my life and the life of my brothers and sisters. Thank you for unity. Thank you for peace. We rejoice together in all that You are and all that You do. It is because of You we can do this, our great Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ. Amen.
