of which I became a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by the effective working of His power.
~Ephesians 3:7~
The kingdom of heaven is filled with an abundance of gifts that the Father has preset out for us to receive as tokens of His undenying love for us. There is an overwhelming amount of joy which supplies us with strength and praise; "The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation; He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him."
(Exodus 15:2)
Heaven exalts the Name of the Lord and gives us the gift of life. We are given His grace and everlasting mercy to be able to become ministers according to His power.
There is an effective working Paul speaks about in which aligns to us becoming humble and gentle. We are effective when we act in love; "Let all that you do be done with love."
(I Corinthians 16:14)
God is love and if we are walking according to love, ministering to others will become fruitful. The power which God gives us is a gift of glory He shares. He doesn't even need us to be used for anything, He chooses to for He loves us and wants us to love Him.
Paul understood the very gift of grace itself that came right at him from heaven. He knew that without God's grace and mercy He would still be on his way to hell. I too understand, as Paul did, I am weak human flesh on my own. The effective working of Jesus' power comes through me in order to minister by grace. Becoming partners with Christ was the best thing that has ever happened to me and without Holy Spirit power effectively guiding me in it I would not be where I am today.
"I tell the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Spirit." (Romans 9:1)
I certainly would not even be writing this right now, or if I did it would not be near as eloquent as what He leads me to write each day, for I never was good at writing. His grace and His faithfulness gives me that ability to minister to all of you through His word. The word which edifies and doesn't tear down. The word in which brings nearness to God and not to men. The word which fills the day with Jesus' light.
Are we ministering according to the Lord's power and grace? It is freely given and it is our job to freely receive and give back. I pray that if there is a hinderance in your walk or any doubt in your heart, you may meditate on Paul's words and mine through Holy Spirit's leading and be aware of the grace that is present, the joy which is set before you and the strength which Jesus gives to keep us on our feet each day. His love for us is so deep, so vast and ever expanding to others; "But as you abound in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in all diligence, and in your love for us—see that you abound in this grace also." (II Corinthians 8:7)
Let us use our blessings according to His power within us; setting aside our need to push in flesh and trust that His grace and His lead is sufficient enough so we may help minister with these gifts from the Father of heaven above.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank you for Your steadfast grace that abounds so firmly in my life. Without you I would be completely lost and unable to show others Your love. I lift up all of my brothers and sisters in Christ for a mighty blessing to rest in Your mercy and walk in Your truth. I bless those who do not know You and pray You make a way for them to receive You. Lord, I did not deserve this gift but I truely receive it all and I am praising You for allowing me to partner with Holy Spirit to minister to Your children. I pray for divine protection as I come against the enemy today. I ask for Your joy to fill me as I may feel my own weakness come through. I receive a filling of Your presence so that Your light may shine forth. May all glory be to You in each moment, in the Name of my King of Kings I pray, Jesus Christ. Amen.
