I Surrender All

June 6, 2021

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

~Romans 10:9~

When we surrender ourselves, we cease all parts that resist authority. Coming to Christ is surrendering our sins to the cross. We begin to hear the truth of the gospel and we say with our mouth that we believe. The Father welcomes us into His Family with open arms and fills us with Holy Spirit to guide us into all righteousness and the image of His Son. It doesn't stop the moment we come to the cross, it continues out with us believing in our hearts and surrendering each part of our old self to Him;

"Oh, that my ways were directed To keep Your statutes!" (Psalms 119:5)

Let us not just look to Jesus but to follow Him completely too. Each day we give Him our entire being and rely on His control, not our own, we are surrendering and believing in our heart that His word is sufficient enough and it will do exactly what He says it will do! It will not return void. Our spiritual growth relies on our surrender to God. Giving Him the parts of our hearts that may still harbor unbelief to the word we have heard. Is there something that we struggle with concerning things already spoken to us by God? Let us briefly address some examples:

Is our anxiety rising up and causing us to question until we feel sick in our spirit? "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6)

Are we attempting to take control of situations before coming to the Lord and making sure it is what He wants and not just what our flesh desires of us to do? "A man’s heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps." (Proverbs 16:9)

Are we feeling scared while under attack on our health wondering if God will come through for us even after His word says He will? "And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."

(James 5:15)

Are we remaining quiet in a time when He needs us to speak out in truth for fear of being rejected? "These are the things you shall do: Speak each man the truth to his neighbor; Give judgment in your gates for truth, justice, and peace." (Zechariah 8:16)

Whichever we may be up against a wall on; anxiety, fear, doubt or lack of trust, we are carrying parts of unbelief in our heart that has yet to come into agreement with what we have spoken from our mouths. Jesus is wanting to put to death those parts of us that has yet to surrender to Him. The parts of us that preach the gospel yet shy away from walking in it in boldness as He has given us the ability to do so; "So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” (John 20:21)

Do you see what this means my friends? Jesus stated very clearly before His death that He was here to do the will of Him who sent Him. The Father sent Jesus to do His will and thats exactly what He did, He surrendered all to Abba. Now Jesus sends us in the same way, to do His will. We must surrender all of our heart to Him and sometimes that requires a lot of healing in ourselves to fully believe. Our gentle God is ready to do so for us so that we may walk boldly with Him. I hear a lot people ask me about my "special relationship with Jesus," or make comments of the sort like they haven't been able to experience it. The truth is we ALL have special relationships with the Lord we need not only but to tap into them! The Lord grows us all closer to Him as we hunger to know Him. We all have the capability of hearing Him and knowing Him so intimately. The driving factor? Time. Let us truely give our time to Him. This requires complete surrender to all He has for us and with us; "Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things."

(Acts 17:25)

Notice, God gives to ALL life, breath and all things; the word does not say "to some." We need to come to the Lord surrendering each part of the unbelieving heart that still wrestles with what we heard with our ears and spoke with our mouths. When we do we will begin to worry less, trust more and believe in the living word that goes forth doing exactly as it is spoken. Mind, body and spirit will be aligned to Him. God's covenant is pure but it is up to us if we are ready to surrender all to Him, to walk in the complete gospel increasing our faith and the faith of others.

Prayer:

Precious Father in Heaven, oh how grateful I am of the truth which You speak over me knowing that Your word is never hindered. The will You have on my life has been there since the foundations of the world and I choose to surrender each part of my fleshly heart, that may still be hardened in unbelief, and walk in the fullness You have for me. I adore You and long to show everyone I am near the presence of Your glorious blessing. Help me in any area I may not have fully believed yet in my heart. If I may be worrying, doubting or trying to take control where I just need to surrender to You, show me Lord. I am Yours and I want to be a Kingdom worker right up until my last breath on earth. All glory is to You and the Mighty blessings You rain upon us can only get better as we surrender every part of our hearts to Yours. I speak a Holy alignment amongst all of my brothers and my sisters. May their spiritual beings grow closer in harmony with You. In the Name that is highly exalted, Jesus Christ. Amen.
