God's Justice Prevails

April 5, 2021

Rest in the Lord , and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass.

~Psalms 37:7~

I dont typically follow news very much. I like to focus on what the Lord needs of me each day rather then get caught up with things around me. I will often times browse a network, not of mainstream, who speaks about truth rather then manipulate society in their "opinions." Many sad situations are occurring in this particular nation and other nations as well, that most media will not even speak of. We have a crisis on the border where women and children are being used as pawns for evil schemes. We have a range of individuals that believe it is okay to coach children to change their sexual identity, in which God created them to be, if they feel a tad bit "confused." We have innocent blood shed each day for selfish reasons that others are "fighting for the right to do so." We have a nation that has been blessed so long by God who chooses to blaspheme His people every chance they get. Murders, sorcery and poison becoming "okay." Time being wasted. Struggling families being ignored. Times are truely changing and all I can recall hearing is people claiming to "get back to normal." Let's face it friends, it will never be back to the way it was.

As Bob Dylan once wrote years ago; "The line, it is drawn, the curse, it is cast

The slow one now will later be fast

As the present now will later be past

The order is rapidly fading

And the first one now will later be last

For the times, they are a-changin'."

We are to wait solely on the Lord for His justice to prevail. Without Him, this whole society would be completely hopeless and we would all still be pieces in the devil's twisted games. Our enemy wants nothing more then to strip away all holiness. To take God out of the picture. To pervert the very word of God. We can get dragged down by the wicked things happening all around or we can stand up, speak out, urge people to be fully in as true followers of Christ and pray like we have never prayed before for the darkness to be shut out. God holds the power. He is capable of bending plans for His faithful servants.

"Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the Lord , the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord . And I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city from the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for My own sake, and for the sake of My servant David.”

(II Kings 20:5‭-‬6)

As a faithful servant Hezekiah wept and prayed for mercy like never before and the Lord granted him fifteen more years. The Lord allowed His own divine will to be “overruled” in favor of Hezekiah's will.

If we allow our prayers to be moved with faith and love for God, we may have mercy as he did. However, sin is sin. We do know God does not ignore the type of evil that does occur and He is just. "God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day."

(Psalms 7:11)

It is not our job to serve justice in such a way. Only God can judge, we however can pray, fast and serve Jesus until He feels the time is right. We must wait on Him and be faithful to Him. We must be ready to stand for Him no matter what peer pressure the devil will throw at us in this world, no matter what person may turn against us and no matter what society deems "normal." We are called to be pilgrims in this land, set apart with God to do His will for His people to see the Kingdom of heaven on earth. "Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul."

(I Peter 2:11)

Let us ask Jesus for the self control that will react in the very way He would react. We must not get too overwhelmed with what we see but rather fight in spirit against them. For it is not flesh and blood we wrestle against. Our battle is unseen. The spiritual realm is very real and effects the outcome of society in general when we choose to turn our backs on God and refuse to live holy lives for Him. We will start to see the enemy creep in and turn even some of the elect. "For false christs and false prophets will rise and show signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect." (Mark 13:22)

My friends, we must gather with right fellowship, pray every moment we get, keep our bibles close by physically and spiritually and be ready to use it as a sword against the schemes of the wicked. God sees all. The way we feel about these terrible things happening is nothing but a fragment of how the Lord feels about it. The same goes for His love and we all know that when one loves something, they will do anything for them. Jesus is watching and Jesus is not standing idlely by. He may be giving more time for mercy of those to repent, however, the wicked will not go without punishment. "A worthless person, a wicked man, Walks with a perverse mouth; He winks with his eyes, He shuffles his feet, He points with his fingers; Perversity is in his heart, He devises evil continually, He sows discord. Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly; Suddenly he shall be broken without remedy."

(Proverbs 6:12‭-‬15)

As we pray, fast, read and teach the truth; we can rest in the Lord and wait on Him for the next move. Whether it be from us as He leads or from the Lord Himself, it will come. He is faithful and all of His promises are coming to pass. Our job is to remain holy, not become lukewarm in our beliefs and stand for truth. For even though the man who brings wicked schemes to pass; God has something mightier to bring to pass in His perfect time. We can wait with patience for His glory to unfold, because it certainly will.

Prayer:

Father God, thank you for being so merciful as our world becomes increasingly wicked and unpure before Your eyes. None of us deserved a chance at righteousness, yet You gave it lovingly. I pray for any wicked way in me to be stripped out of me. I vow to stay with You whole heartedly and to never compromise. I follow You, not the things of this world. Show me what I can do for You today Lord to bring blessings to the Kingdom. It is my job to be truthful, I know. Please give me the words, Holy Spirit, that You wish me to present to those around me so they may come out of the trance of satan.

I know You are the same Just God You have always been and I know as I wait on You I can pray and fight for my brothers and sisters who are being wronged in spirit. For with our prayers we can move heaven and earth. Your mercy allows things to shift, if You choose to do so. Purify my mind and cleanse my heart from all things ungodly. I repent of all wicked schemes our nation partakes in and I pray for justice to prevail sooner then later for all the ones suffering under the schemes of the wicked ones. In the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
