For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.”
~Jeremiah 31:25~
Lately when I talk to someone and ask how they are doing I get a similar response to even that which I am feeling myself; "I am tired." Our bodies are moving fast as time seems to be speeding up each day. Our spirits feeling heavy as we sense dark manifestations around us that go against God's word. Our souls becoming weary and in need of replenishing. The Lord is so dear to show us constant love as we go on each day with new arising situations from this world. Leaning on Jesus each moment of the day is the only thing that is able to give my body refreshment and energy; "O God, You are more awesome than Your holy places. The God of Israel is He who gives strength and power to His people. Blessed be God!" (Psalms 68:35)
As I type this, my eyes are feeling heavy and my soul is longing for more of Christ's energy. Are you feeling fatigued in your body, weary in your spirit? God is right within you waiting to give you anything you ask of in His Son's Name; "If you ask anything in My name, I will do it." (John 14:14)
Let our gift of energy from God be manifested for the pure glory of Him alone. We are so blessed to be alive today, with fresh air in our lungs, a beating heart in our chest and surrounded by people who love us. God is so good to us; He does not wish that any of us become overly tired, weary or that we feel as if we are being bled dry. Jesus' Blood is sufficient for all things and it covers us!
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:19)
All of the same benefits Christ received from the Father when He walked this earth are available to us each day in abundance! Jesus grew in power as He was tempted in the widerness. Jesus rested His eyes in between ministry. Jesus received strength and endurance at the garden of Gethsemane. He now passes us the torch and tells us to trust in God.
"Yes, we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead,"
(II Corinthians 1:9)
Speaking from experience, I have had times when I bearly slept for days in a row and still as I relied on God's divine energy I began to function perfectly fine those days and fulfill all He had for me. Holy Spirit, gives us the same ability and power to rise up in our state of weakness. This is the beauty of Him filling us and using us. We do not need to rely on ourselves, God is right there in us waiting to impart what so ever we ask for. Today if it is energy you need, ask for it from Jesus. If you need joy, ask for a filling of joy from heaven above. If you need courage, God shall supply you with enough courage to take down a bull, so long as you truely believe He will. Faith drives us to an incredible amount of blessings and God is happy to supply it. He loves us more then we can even understand with our human mind.
"And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him."
(I John 4:16)
Let us come to God immediately at the first sign of fatigue and ask for our souls to be replenished. He is always willing to give us that restoration so that we may move ahead with His will for our day. The enemy loves us to remain miserable and tired, doesn't he? This way we do not have the desire to do much of anything, therefore not being able to give God glory. The Lord is standing very close by willing to give us that increase right when we need it. We must ask! He will never force Himself upon us; let us come to Him with open arms as a child who runs to their parents longing to feel stronger for having been held by them. "But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
(Matthew 19:14)
Looking to Jesus as a little child is using a faith within us that is capable of receiving what so ever we ask for in His Name. Children are so quick to believe what you say to them and I pray we can all believe what God wants for us as His little children. The Lord will replenish our souls and gives us His energy. Let us rest in Him today and receive Holy Spirit strength and go on to feel as though we slept sound and peacefully every night, because that is how we will feel once He supplies it. "I lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustained me." (Psalms 3:5)
We may feel tired for now but it will not last long as we rely upon the Spirit which dwells within us waiting to restore us for a blessed day!
Prayer:
Father God, thank you for the divine energy that allows me to fulfill each day You have made for me. Even as my eyes feel heavy I know You will fill me and allow me to feel replenished. My sorrow will be turned to joy. I shall walk in the peace of God today and declare blessings on it. Use me Lord to encourage Your weary children and testify of Your faithfulness. I come to You as a little child for that is exactly what I am to You and that is how much I trust in Your provision. I praise You for restoration and rejuvenation that is about to manifest as I am receiving it in the Name of Your Son, my Provider Jesus Christ. Amen.
