I will tell you, hear me; What I have seen I will declare.
~Job 15:17~
Boldness takes courage. Courage comes from within where God dwells. We witness truth and Jesus becomes our true companion. We are willing to do anything for Him as He did for us. Our hearts tremble and we can't bear to ignore the glory of the Lord. Our heart skips a beat when someone claims something against Him and we must speak a word of truth. Is the Lord permitting us to speak at this moment or are we told to wait? Many times I catch myself in this predicament and I understand He has a perfect plan that I must trust in and pray upon. When we love Jesus so much, above all else, we will declare His works with gladness! "Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion! Declare His deeds among the people." (Psalms 9:11)
This world is completely set apart from what we know, that is His Spirit. We are told to speak what we witness, giving God all glory.
Jesus is looking for true worshippers, followers and warriors to speak up when He asks us to. There may be a time where we need to testify of something He did for us in front of a crowd or even a person who is not a believer. There may be a moment we need to lay hands and pray over someone who may make us uncomfortable. There may be a time we are under attack and we must use our sword of the spirit to penetrate the enemies lies. Being a christian is not very easy but it is very rewarding just to know Him. Intimate time with Him will cause us to become bold. "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
(Joshua 1:9)
Just like from yesterday's writing, when we have a friend in which we would do anything for we will stick up for them no matter what that requires. This is what Jesus is for us. Let us declare our days being His. Let us declare that the devil is a liar and has no right to be near us! Let us declare the miracles He performed for us and through us! Let God be shown the way He intends to be. We are so blessed to have the opportunity to be the Lord's mouth, hands and feet to bring others to the same truth we experience each day. Are we hesitant on declaring still? Maybe we need more time getting to know Jesus personally; "Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded." (James 4:8)
Are we afraid of what others may think? Maybe we need to pray for this part of our flesh to be broken off so that we may be free from this fear; "Only fear the Lord, and serve Him in truth with all your heart; for consider what great things He has done for you."
(I Samuel 12:24)
Are we rushing into speaking when the Lord is telling us to wait on His timing to reach this person? Maybe we are in need of better obedience and patience; "Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!"
(Psalms 27:14)
Blessings will come and He will look out for us. We may be rejected, we may be hated and we may even be persecuted; but Hallelujah Jesus is alive! We can declare His works not worrying about where it takes us or who is judging us for we will know in our hearts there is nothing and no one who can gives us the things He can! Let us declare our days to be His, our families to be protected and those who are lost to be found. We can leave it to Jesus and His timing, walling boldly and courageously in confidence of the faith that is within us. For without it, we would not be where we are today.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, thank you for being so bold and faithful to go to the cross for me declaring the works of the Father. Without Your teachings and obedience I would not be here today. I am alive because You are alive! I am praising Your most honorable Name, ready to declare it to whoever asks me and whoever You lead me to. Use me each day to reach at least one soul, if it is in line with Your will. I pray for any hesitancy to be broken off now in Your Name. I pray for my brethren to stand in faith no matter what it costs them. I pray Your Name is lifted each and everyday so High. You deserve all the praise and worship. Fill me with Your boldness that I may speak to the mountains of unbelief and cast them into the sea. I follow You and only You, praying and declaring in Your Holy Name, King Jesus Christ. Amen.
Amen. Thank You
