Come Into His Presence With Great Praise!

July 5, 2021

Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.

~Psalms 95:2~

We are living in a time of increasing darkness; difficulties with government, nations, family, church and personal complications. As humans, we are so used to waking up focusing on all of the problems we are up against rather then the very fact that we are alive to begin with. We let our circumstances dictate who we are above learning more about who God says we are. The Lord is next to us as we grumble about our days being "so bad." He sighs as we focus on the world rather then the Kingdom He is preparing for us; "In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."

(John 14:2)

He listens as we claim that our country is a lost cause; "For with God nothing will be impossible.” (Luke 1:37)

He watches as we treat eachother with bitter judgement and rejection to come together; "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another." (John 13:34)

We should start and end our days with great adoration to God Almighty! We should truely be feeling blessed to be alive each day. We should make the gospel the focal point of our days, the very salvation Jesus Christ suffered to give to us; "Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” (Luke 24:26)

When we give thanks, we start our prayers off with understanding of being able to come to the throne room with our words. When we praise God we align our spirit man to His Spirit and declare all the mighty things He has done and is doing. We acknowledge the grace that was given to each of us. We stand on truth that we have it way better then most of our fellow brethren who suffer persecution everyday for their faith; "Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also." (Hebrews 13:3)

Praising gives Holy Spirit full room to fill us and leaves no room the for the devil to slip in.

"nor give place to the devil." (Ephesians 4:27)

If there is one thing he loves to do to us it is to silence us to praise with our mouth, dance with our bodies or connect with our spirits to God. Worship and thanksgiving to God is a powerful piece to our arsonal. It makes evil want to flee. The psalms are well written spiritual poetry and songs, try singing them sometime, you will not be disappointed! David instructs us in this verse to "shout joyfully" to the Lord with these psalms. Let us be full of joy and shout to the Lord for all He has done! When we focus on Him, He is quick to manifest and join us in rejoicing, for He is a humble King. He is ready to bless and multiply as we trust in Him. No matter how dark and cold things may seem, we can praise God that we have citizenship with Him and communion with Jesus Christ everyday. We must not speak death over our situations but rather speak life and blessings. He gave us a tounge for big purpose. We have a choice how we want to use it. "With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God."(James 3:9)

The Lord desires us, as believers, to use our God given voice to worship, praise, thank Him and treat eachother with love. Anything that is opposite of this will only bring us further into the misery the enemy desires us to be in. How do we want to spend our day? Do we want to praise God for being here in this time and season able to live for His purpose? Do we want to grumble, complain and mock what God has allowed to strengthen us? We must keep our eyes on Christ, our hearts filled with Holy Spirit and our mind on the things in which build us up rather then tear us down. Shout joyfully! For God is so good! Sing praises for our voices work! Move around and dance for He is risen! Hallelujah! Jesus is King! The things in this world will become a distant thought as we do so."You have granted me life and favor, And Your care has preserved my spirit."

(Job 10:12)

Prayer:

El Elyon, the Most High God, thank you for giving me life! I am blessed to know You, work beside You and speak of You. With You on my side, nothing shall harm me. For if anyone attempts to, my spirit lives on in adoration to You. I pray my entire focus be on You Lord, and that any negative thought that attempts to lurk into my mind be broken now in Your Name. Let my heart be guarded in Christ Jesus and declare exaltation in the middle of dark times. For I know You will bring us through and glory will be given to You! I sing praises to You Most High God, my King, Mighty Counselor and Provider, Jesus Christ. Amen.
