Blessings To All

May 2, 2021

Mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.

~Jude 1:2~

I sit here tonight, writing this devotional a bit late, as I normally write them in the mornings. I understand why the Lord gave me the scripture for the day but then proceeded to tell me to wait. I went about my day at church; a beautiful day indeed with tons of food and laughter, divine appointments for prayers and blessings being poured out upon His children, my brethren. I sit as the breath taking sun sets on a glorious day, taking in this scripture in a whole new light. Smiling ear to ear at the mercy, peace and love that truely was multiplied today. The Lord is so very faithful and He never stops amazing all of us. "God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord." (I Corinthians 1:9)

When we fellowship with Jesus and we listen to His calls on when to be still and when to move, we will see the outpouring of His mercy, peace and love. It is His will that all we have that is good is multiplied. He gave Himself for our life to be full; "He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:32)

If God gave us His one and only Son as the greatest gift of all, then surely it is His desire we bask in an abundance of all of His blessings! We have an enemy who likes to make us think otherwise; at the littlest thing that may go wrong or even with a big mishap in our life that is strategically caused by the devil himself. These are planted in our face to steer us away from believing that God is still desiring us to be multiplied in blessings. I want to take a moment to speak a prayer of blessing over all of you right now who are reading this: May the Lord bless you and keep you in the grips of His truth. May your mind be focused on God's goodness even in the midst of the enemy's storm. May you feel the abundant mercy, peace and love be mulitiplied to you from here on out and your gaze be solely set upon the One true God who makes it all happen each and everyday, even as we can't see it. I pray this over you in the Name of our Lord and Savior who richly blesses, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Rest in this prayer my friends, receive and believe in the goodness He is preparing for you at this moment. If you are wading in a pool of "what ifs," confused by a trial of uncertainty or hit with a sudden loss that brings despair to your heart; know that the love of Christ cannot be taken from us no matter what is going on around.

"For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

(Romans 8:38‭-‬39)

God is preparing great things for us as we wait and as we wait we have the gift of resting in His presence; "And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” (Exodus 33:14)

It is not our own peace, it is the peace that comes directly from God and trust me when I say there is no other person, drug or possession in this world that can compare to the true peace of God filling us!

The true gift was already given and in great abundance. Eternal life is ours, how much more is peace, joy, satisfaction and His glory given to us from a Father who is longing for just our communion? The Lord does not wish we are to only have some, He wishes we are to have much more then we could ever ask for! "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us." (Ephesians 3:20)

Notice Paul says, "according to the power that works in us." This power is within us as believers and we as believers have the option to believe in God's greatness and receive abundantly what He has to offer. We also have the option to doubt in this same goodness and come out of agreement with the promises God has to give us. It is up to us what we choose to rest in and believe. As I have stated, I needed to wait on this devotion as the Lord had made this scripture truely come to life today and I can now sit here and write to all of you from experience; time and time again the Lord had genuinely multiplied our mercy, peace and love. I can praise Him for His goodness today on a day when blessings rained down from heaven like manna and I can praise Him on a day like yesterday when I felt tired, turned around and weighed down by the enemy. For I know the One who supplies each time and I know the one who lies each time. I choose to believe the One who speaks truth and loves me whole heartedly. He is everything to me and we are everything and then some to Him. Choose life my friends, even when the going gets tough. When we do believe and stand on those promises, the tough will always get going. I bless you all today my friends and I cherish each and everyone of you! Thanks to our King, I can write these words to you in hopes of edification, that you will hear from Him and not from me. For without Him, I am not anything to listen to. Love you all!

Prayer:

Lord God, thank you for Your immeasurable sacrifice given to us out of pure love and mercy. I am forever grateful for the abundance You have provided for us and that even though we are lied to about your goodness as we carry on in this fallen world, we can walk in faith knowing that You are good and Your promises are kept. I choose to believe You and cast aside all the devil's attempts to make me believe otherwise. Fill me Holy Spirit and use me to bless others who may need to see just how truely merciful You are. Your Son, our greatest gift of all walks beside us in beautiful harmony declaring peace into our lives and I receive it all. Praise be given to You for the mighty chains You have broke off today, the smiles You placed on faces, the truth that was spoken and the healing that was manifested. It is all thanks to Your great power that came upon us in the flesh. May glory be given to You always, in Your Merciful Name I pray, Jesus Christ. Amen.
