Believe In God's Vision For You

May 18, 2021

For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

~Habakkuk 2:3~

God will bring forth desires into our hearts that will align to His plans and suddenly we will feel a calling in a direction where we tend to believe we are just acting in flesh. While this could be the case at times, there are desires we feel because God has implanted them there and we are meant to have them. There are also things we ask for that out of love He still wants us to have. He gives good gifts to His children. There is nothing the Lord wants more then to fulfill our hearts vision; "Delight yourself also in the Lord , And He shall give you the desires of your heart." (Psalms 37:4)

If it is something that can give glory to God and is not sinful of course, God will bring forth said vision as we write it down in our hearts and meditate on it in prayer until His timing says it is ready. Habakkuk was instructed to "write the vision and make it plain on tablets." We all have a vision with the Lord in our life and God is telling us to write it down, make it plain and to wait for it to come to pass in faith. Believe in the blessings He has for you friends! Jesus gives abundantly. "For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You." (Psalms 86:5)

Are you finding yourself praying for one specific path that you feel deep within your soul is meant for you or your family? Are you finding yourself feeling discouraged by the lies of the enemy telling you that it will never happen? Write the vision upon your heart or even down on paper. Ask God to speak to you concerning this desire. Wait in silence and listen for His word to you. There may be a job you are praying for. A financial break through that you have needed. Perhaps you are like my family and are waiting on a sweet little addition to your own flock. Maybe you feel a particular calling in your life to minister for the Lord. What ever it may be, write it down and believe that as you pray on it, it will not tarry.

"Now I tell you before it comes, that when it does come to pass, you may believe that I am He." (John 13:19)

Jesus wants us to be in the fullness of God. He wants our faith to increase as we draw nearer so that we may believe in His promises to us. Not everything is according to His will but when we ask in love for something that is good for others or Him, He is faithful to fulfill those desires. I want to tell you that even as we wait, He is working in our lives, getting us shaped and prepared to be able to be in the right place to receive our blessings. Some things we are just not in the right dimension to have what we ask yet, but God says it is coming! There is a door in which Jesus is waiting for us to open in an appointed time. Jesus is saying believe in the blessings and be ready to pull back the curtain to your vision. We are so blessed to have a Lord who leads us there safely. To know when we can handle certain situations. For if we receive everything right away we either will not appreciate it as much, will not be ready to handle it or we will not feel the growth in our faith and strength in our spirits in the midst of waiting for Him to proceed with the vision we have.

Habakkuk felt discouraged in his feelings while watching the wicked prevail. He asked the Lord questions concerning His judgement and God had made a promise to follow through. God was telling Habakkuk to have faith in His words and to declare his own vision on it. The hymn of faith in the end of this book is one of my favorites that we can all meditate on now as we are believing for our own vision to come to pass;

"Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the Lord , I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills. To the Chief Musician. With my stringed instruments." (Habakkuk 3:17‭-‬19)

We should be a people who say, "I believe in God's vision for me, I know His timing is perfect. Let me praise His Name as I wait and let my faith grow to everlasting so I may see this come to pass, for God is good and He loves me. He brings provision, He is my strength." Im joining all of you in prayer and believing with you that what so ever the Lord has implanted upon your heart, He is going to bring it to you. It will not tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come! I pray that Jesus fills you with joy as you wait, just as He has for me.

Prayer:

Lord God, thank you for allowing the desires of my heart to be fulfilled in Your perfect time. I know that You are strengthening me each day to receive it. I believe my vision will not tarry and it will surely come! I come into agreement with each promise You have for me and I declare victory over the devil's lies that attempt me to think otherwise. I will freely sacrifice to You, I will praise Your Name O LORD, for it is good. I know You shall deliver me from the trials of waiting and fulfill all of the vision I have written down on my heart. Thank you Jesus for the faith that is within me. Use me for Your glory moving forward. I receive all blessings and the joy of the Lord today in the Name of the Son and my Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Amen.
